I love this place so much. Finally, the authentic taste of Thai food that I’ve been missing ever since I left Atlanta. I’ve eaten here more than 5 times in in the last month The Nam Sod and Red Curry Chicken are my favorite dishes. Please support this incredible place.

I have worked in Thai restaurants in big cities. This is authentic, their curry is spot-on, basically identical to curries I’ve tasted at several great restaurants in my travels, best in Erie by far in my opinion. It is true what other reviewers are saying about the spice level though - if you want it to be pretty spicy, you must tell them. “American spicy” is basically not at all. I like medium-level spicy usually.

Bad service. Placed a pick up for the first time at the bar. A young man yelled I guess I’ll place the order because there’s a line! Yelled it. There was NO LINE! Myself and my two boys. No line! Take out order. He was so rude didn’t even say hi. Said OK. I even forgot what I was going to order! And I did. Ordered pork egg rolls, drunken noodles w chicken and wonder shrimp. I forgot to order the Thai spicy rice. I paid and said sorry I interrupted you working at the bar he said nothing to me! I ended up calling back when I realized I forgot to order the rice. I placed said I’d pay when I picked the other items. Got there paid. Got home and items missing! Called told them said how excited I was to try it but I was so sad about the service and how they even forgot my item! They hung up! NEVER AGAIN! I’m being generous with the stars.

This restaurant and its atmosphere was welcoming and beautiful. The waitress we had, Carol, was very kind. She took her time to go the extra mile: she cleaned off the best table in the restaurant for us to sit at, explained the menu to us in great detail even though she had only been there for a month (which was quite impressive), and was relatable & friendly.

The restaurant was quiet, so we got to enjoy our meal in peace. It wasn't hot in there, nor was it cold. The seating was comfortable, and the food came quickly. Not to mention the extensive menu!

The food was pure joy. I got the "pad phed pha" with tofu, which was what Carol recommended to me. The tofu really absorbed the flavor of the dish, which made it a great protein to go with. Perfect for vegetarians!

My friends got two different, equally delicious and spectacular curries. They were extremely flavorful, creamy, and rich; divine. One of my friends began to cry after her first bite because the curry was just THAT GOOD. She said that her taste buds hadn't tasted something that good in a long time.

My other friend said,
"The food was absolutely a masterpiece of bliss from out of this world."
"It was utterly good and tasteful."

Additionally, since the restaurant was close to the beaches, it only took a minute to drive there. What fun!

This was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We will be coming back!

Found this place when craving some warm Asian foods and looking around Erie! The atmosphere is really great and welcoming, also very comfortable! The staff was on top of it, taking care of each other’s tables whenever possible and checking in on us. Our server Carol was very helpful in making recommendations, with it being our first time here. We were visiting from out of town and came in with a party of seven, three adults and four young children. Our order was straightforward: waters, one Diet Coke, three appetizers, lo mein, pho, soup, and two kids meals. We were ready to order and did not require repeated trips to the table, yet the service was genuinely some of the worst I have ever experienced.

Our waitress was rude, dismissive, and acted as though our presence was a major inconvenience from the moment we sat down. She repeatedly began walking away while we were still speaking, including when we were trying to ask for basic necessities such as silverware and appetizer plates. Our food arrived before we had anything to eat it with, leaving us sitting there while it got cold. Drinks were not refilled until the meal was essentially over, and every interaction came with an unnecessary attitude.

I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but when you work in hospitality, guests should not be made to feel like a burden simply for dining at the restaurant. Whether she dislikes serving families with children or simply did not want to be there, her behavior completely overshadowed the meal.

To be fully transparent, we did not leave a tip. That is not something we normally do, but the service was so poor that we could not justify rewarding it. This was supposed to be an enjoyable dinner while on vacation, and instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

The food was better than the service, although the negative experience definitely affected our overall impression. The kids chicken fried rice was excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The photo below was at the end of dinner and what was left of our meals. Multiple plates almost completely untouched. Unfortunately, good food can only do so much when the service makes guests feel unwelcome.

This restaurant is top notch. I dine here frequently and I am always impressed with how phenomenal the food is. Each time I have dined here every dish has been consistently delicious. I have included photos of the green curry, massaman curry, panang curry, red curry, yellow curry, pad phed pha, Thai noodles soup(pho), Thai Garden, and Stir Fried Ginger which are each unique, seasoned to perfection, and equally delicious. The food was cold. We asked about the sampler platter and if they would sub the pork dumplings with chicken and they agreed- when it came out, it was still pork. Our Thai iced coffee was pure sugar and we asked for it to be slightly more coffee forward - she only took them to the back to bring them back exactly the same. And lastly the food was lacking flavor. I’ve been here before and it seems the quality and service has declined since. Very disappointing.

We have eaten here before when staying at Sarah’s Campground and it wasn’t bad. This year my wife ordered salmon Thai hot and I ordered the duck Thai hot. My wife’s tasted amazing and was steaming hot. My duck came out with no sauce on it at all and tasted like dry white rice and cold chicken nuggets. I took two bites and shoved it to the side. When the waitress came back she just said are you done with this and I said yep. She never asked if there was an issue with the plate and just promptly brought me the bill. The atmosphere and service upon arriving was some of the friendliest and most wholesome I’ve experienced from any restaurant. Every staff member that my girlfriend and I interacted with was friendly and kind.

Not in the mood for a milkshake or Smith's hotdog when visiting Presque Isle, then you are in luck. This lovely Thai restaurant right near the entrance to the state park and provides a solid Thai food experience.
I had Tom Kar soup, calamari and spring rolls. It was all very tasty. The soup was my favorite part of the meal because it was rich, flavorful and had a nice amount of heat. The service was very prompt and attentive throughout the meal too. Overall, I would recommend stopping in soon!

The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a beautiful atmosphere. The wait staff is super friendly and personable. Our meal was full of flavor. The menu had so many options. The Thai platter is great to try multiple appetizer options. The spice level is adjustable as well. We will be back!

My son and I were visiting Erie from the Philly area and figured we’d take a chance on some Thai food. Wow, this was amazing. Not just great for Erie - great for anywhere. We got Chicken satay and coconut soup, Red Curry chicken, and chicken pad Thai and everything was amazing. My son even grabbed an extra fried rice to go - he said it was the best he’d ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is delicious but the wait staff should stay off their cell phones my I placed my order clearly and I received something different. This was corrected by the staff but I believe it was because the waitstaff was preoccupied on their cell phone.

Thai Taste Cuisine

Good: General flavor of the dishes was good, the service was very friendly and the dining room is lively/inviting with fun art

Some of my review will seem harsh, but this place is worth a try if you're in the area. Hopefully the kitchen will consider my suggestions.

I wanted to really like TT. The reviews were high and it made for a good ending after a long walk and exploration of the Peninsula. The dining room is cool with fun art and the service is fast and very friendly.

Unfortunately the food comes out flat especially for Thai that's on the pricey side. All the dishes were heavily watered down - too much stock and not enough coconut milk to give that needed fat for flavor and texture. The tom kau soup doesn't need to be thick, but definitely needs more coconut milk to get the flavor and consistency. Same with the curry. It seemed like the dish was floating and needed more fat to straighten out both flavor and texture. The chicken satay was smothered in the sauce. It gave the impression of chicken drowning in gravy. A tip would be raise the peanut butter content, and serve the sauce on the side in a dipping bowl so the chicken gets a chance to shine.

The mens room was unsanitary. There was a hasty "paint-over" a huge hole in the wall and the urine odor was terrible.

Finally, the menu has a system of hot represented by American (1 pepper) Mexican (2 pepper) and Thai (3 pepper). I get the message but there's no need for the nationalistic stereo types and loaded assumptions. A clear and clean 1-3 peppers is all that's needed.

I lived in Hawaii for 30 years. I moved back to Erie, to be with family. I thought I would only have the memories of having Thai food. Thai Taste cuisine took me straight back to Maui... maybe even to Thailand.The food was prepared to perfection... it was fantastic! Needless to say, I will be returning as often as possible. And trying everything on the menu. I'm so grateful I found this restaurant. Thank you.

Too late for photos. But oh my Lord, I found my new favorite restaurant. 3 different curries, Tom Yum soup, and Spicy Papaya salad and two bubble drinks. Yummy! All get 5+ stars. Caught them just as they opened with people waiting to get in. So only one person serving until the end.

This is our second time eating here. We were very excited to come back and try different dishes. The first time I got the Khao soi and my husband got the boat soap. The Khao soi was AMAZING so naturally my husband had to get it our second visit for himself. This time I got the drunken noodles with the flat noodles (I requested less spicy as well) and they were amazing!!! We’re excited to go back and continue to try their delicious dishes. Definitely worth a try and the price is perfect. It’s our new favorite spot. 😊

Yeah, I don't know. Perhaps Monday at 1 is not a good time? $22 crispy duck was not made to order. It was VERY dry and a small portion compared to the picture. My wife's spicy shrimp and noodles were pretty good, that said. Service was slow but friendly enough. The Google rating is very good. Perhaps dinner on a Friday would be fresh and yummy and with spirited service. I don't know that they will get another shot with me, sadly.

Absolutely Exceptional! A Must-Visit!
​Thai Taste Cuisine is a 10/10! I had an amazing dinner here. I started with the Thai Tea and Thai Lemonade, both of which were perfectly made and so refreshing.
​For my meal, I had the Thai Beef Salad and the Thai Garden with Shrimp. The beef salad was incredible—the beef was so tender and the flavors were perfectly spicy, tangy, and fresh. The Thai Garden was equally delicious, packed with crisp vegetables and plump, perfectly cooked shrimp. Every single dish was a standout.
​What truly made my experience 5-star, though, was my server, Tommi. They were absolutely exceptional—so attentive, incredibly friendly, and just made the whole meal feel special. I felt so well taken care of from the moment I sat down.
​I will absolutely be back! Highly recommend this gem.

Hands down the best restaurant in Erie! My husband and I have sampled virtually everything on the menu. Favorites include: beef jerky and shrimp donuts (apps), Panang curry (I weep), crispy duckling, Thai noodles soup (the leftovers of which prompted this review), stir fried ginger, khao soi, and pad Thai. We leave there on a legitimate high every time - taste buds lit up but also an overwhelming sense that the staff gives a damn about you 🥲 they are truly the best in the game and I’m so thankful to live where Thai taste lives. Sorry for gushing.

A Pleasant Surprise in Erie – Thai Taste Cuisine Delivers!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (7/10)

Having recently relocated from suburban Maryland, we were admittedly skeptical about finding authentic Thai food in Erie. Thankfully, Thai Taste Cuisine exceeded our expectations in several ways.

The ground chicken wontons were a standout—crispy, flavorful, and complimented well by the sweet & sour sauce. They set a great tone for the meal. The pad thai was quite good, with a well-balanced sauce and flavor that rival some of the better Thai spots we've tried back home. The pot stickers had good flavor but would benefit from a garlic & ginger vinegar dipping sauce over the soy-based sauce they came with.

While there's still room for growth, Thai Taste Cuisine is a solid choice for Thai food lovers in the area. We’re happy to have found a go-to spot and look forward to exploring more of their menu!

Went back today and just love this place. got panang curry with shrimp and OMG super delicious! Also got calamari and drunken noodles! A solid 10 in my opinion! The food was delicious and will only get better as they iron out the wrinkles in a new place! The American spicy was not spicy at all, next time I'll be a bit braver! Prices are very reasonable! I'm definitely going back!

Stopped here on a road trip and I wish it was closer to home! Delicious and flavorful authentic Thai cuisine. We got the thai sampler and enjoyed everything except the shu mai. My red curry was the best I’ve ever had. Big portions too

The food itself was delicious! However we asked for extra sauce for my pad Thai and my wives crab fried rice.

We were told the sauce for her rice would be $3. Which is fine.

However when the bill arrived, I was also charged $3. When we asked our server she said told us that she had to charge me as well.

It is only $3, but the principle of it is that you do not give something to a customer, then charge them without telling.
