I wanted to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I had at your drive-thru recently. The gentleman handling my order was extremely rude and did not communicate clearly while taking a simple wing order. The situation escalated unnecessarily, with accusations directed at me suggesting I was being unkind—when I was simply trying to place my order.

To my surprise, he even threatened to call the police, which felt completely disproportionate to the situation. I believe this could have been avoided with better communication and professionalism.

After a terrible experience from KFC for my Afternoon lunch I was soon quickly turned down mid order from Popeyes. This is absolutely some of the worst service I’ve had in my entire life. I just came home from an argument with an assistant manager. When saying hello at the speaker she responded with “helloooooo” very bully like. We tried to make two orders but got denied even though we’ve done it before. At the window, she was on the phone and made us wait until she was done. Misleading “Family Meal” Sides & Hidden Upcharges

I recently ordered the 14‑piece family meal for $30.99 using a coupon no.9859 that clearly stated it includes two large sides. What I didn’t realize — because it’s buried in tiny fine print — is that Popeyes charges an extra fee .50 per side or more if you choose Mac & Cheese, even though the coupon says “large sides included.”

My receipt showed two $0.50 upcharges that I never asked for. The sides I received were pint‑sized, which is what most people would expect in a family meal, but apparently Popeyes considers the included sides to be the tiny 4‑oz regular size unless you pay extra. That’s not explained anywhere up front.

The cashier wasn’t the problem — the company’s coupon and pricing system is confusing and not transparent. Customers shouldn’t have to hunt through microscopic fine print to avoid surprise charges.

Just a heads‑up to anyone using Popeyes coupons: check your receipt carefully, especially if you order Mac & Cheese or expect the “family meal” sides to actually be family‑sized.

I had one of the worst fast food experiences of my life at this Popeyes location. Not only was the service incredibly slow and unprofessional, but the food I received had actual roaches in it. I was shocked and disgusted.

When I calmly brought it to the staff’s attention, instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, the manager actually cussed me out. No accountability, no concern for health or customer safety—just straight-up disrespect and hostility.

There is absolutely no excuse for this level of service, especially from someone in a management position. This place needs a serious inspection from the health department and a complete retraining of staff on how to treat customers with basic decency.

We pulled off 78 while on a 5 hour drive from NY to MD when we saw there was a Popeyes, and I am so glad we did. The assistant manager, Humera, was extremely unprofessional and clearly needs training on how to appropriately interact with customers and they are manipulating order times by making you wait at the order screen before you can pull up. Her behavior was not only rude but also intimidating. After placing my order, I was told to wait at the order screen despite there being no cars in front of me. I waited for about two minutes before being told I could pull up. When I got to the window, I was handed my food immediately, which made it clear that my order had been prepared while I was waiting — seemingly to manipulate the drive-thru time and make it appear faster than it was.

As I was checking my bag and looking for a straw, a woman who identified herself as the assistant manager, Humera, came to the window and stood there staring at me with her arms crossed. When I asked if something was wrong, she said I was “messing up her time.” I explained that I was just looking for my straw, but she continued to frown and glare at me. When I said I’d be leaving a review, she sarcastically responded, “Go ahead, you want my name?” and began spelling it out.

I’ve never been spoken to like that by anyone in customer service, let alone a manager. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I left feeling disrespected and angry, and I will not be returning to this location. I also plan to share my experience so others are aware of the treatment customers may receive.

I’m deeply disappointed and hurt by the treatment my group received at this Popeyes location. We were refused service outright, and it became clear that the denial was based solely on the color of our skin. In 2025, there is absolutely no excuse for racism in any business—especially from a national food chain that claims to serve all communities. What happened was not just bad service; it was blatant discrimination. We felt humiliated and unsafe. No one should be made to feel less than human for simply trying to order food.

Popeyes needs to take responsibility, investigate this incident, and implement real accountability and diversity training for their staff. This kind of behavior is intolerable and should not be happening anywhere in this country.

Encountered an extremely aggressive young male manager who created a hostile environment on the evening of 8/16/2024. Thank God my family isn't ignorant and had sense to walk away. To disrespect a customer for simply asking why they're being charged more than the advertised price is disgusting. I would say retrain him, but his behavior should result in termination.

I’ve heard great things about this location. I genuinely believe I just caught them on a bad day, but the experience was just bad. A group of about 8 middle school children were in the restaurant lobby yelling and screaming, making it hard to even hear the person taking your order. They spilled drinks all over the floor, and would interrupt the person standing at the counter. I waited about 10 minutes before the manager tended to me and took my order. Food took a bit to get, but nonetheless I didn’t mind waiting so long as the food was warm.
As it turns out, the nuggets were cold, the fries were cold, and the biscuit was stale. I definitely wouldn’t recommend visiting during lunch hour. I understand the busyness, but at the least give someone some warm food after the trouble.

I received absolutely amazing service from this location. I stopped going to the one on MacArthur Road because of the bad service there. If you're frustrated with that location, come to this one. It literally took me 3 minutes to order and get my food. They almost forgot to give me debit card back because they handed me the food so quickly, and I ordered a lot. This is the best Popeye's in the area.

The management team did a great job in hiring amazing people! My biggest pet peeve is when you're not acknowledged. That is not the case here. I do Doordash on the side and with my experience, they go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of!

This Popeyes is clean and the chicken is usually the best in the area. However, we used to be able to just ask for a cup to get water and it was no charge. Today they charged us $1.50 per cup for free water! I understand a small charge for the cup but $1.50 is exorbitant. The staff offered us extra chicken, rather than credit my CC as I refused to pay for the water which was nice, but we still had no water. I am not sure if this is a corporate decision to charge $1.50 for a cup, or the franchisee.
I think this Popeye's is pricing themselves out of the market.
We won't be back.

As someone who was TIRED of traveling to Whitehall or east side for Popeyes I was relieved to find this was open. EVERYONE WAS SO KIND. Especially the supervisor that was there at 9 p.m. he made sure our order was took promptly and with a smile. He personally escorted us and thanked us for coming. He was a kind soul with kind eyes. Went there to try Popeyes, never ordered Popeyes before, when I walked in they welcomed me with a smile on their face and helped me out with the deals and combos they had. I ended up ordering tenders with fries, the service was fast, they weren’t rude and it was just an overall good experience, definitely eating there again!

Foods okay, advertisement on the drive thru menu is misleading. $19.99 (in big letters) 8pc family Box, 1 side. So I ask my son what side he wanted and ordered Fries. Total $28.00;. please pull through. Huh, what?! I said $8.00 for some french fries? Nah I'm good I'll just take the chicken, he said but you get biskets. LOL I'm really not interested in the biskets I told him and $8.00 for a side of fries to make it a meal is nuts when you don't charge $8.00 for a large fry by itself. He offered to give 2 extra PCs of chicken just so he could keep the sale rather than just giving me the 8 Pc and no fries. The guy at the window was awesome and he accomidated as quickly as he could, but wrong is wrong, as a major chain in fast food you shouldn't intentionally put your employees and customers in a predictable negative situation. Because you put chicken only and the real price in tiny letters that is probably missed by most in a drive through.
Please just be honest, clear, upfront and transparent. You will gain the respect of your customers and build a good reputable relationshipship. Unfortunately, business practices like this will not incurrage revisiting. Not impressed 😁

I was pleasantly surprised with this location, I've been to a couple of others in Allentown that have strange 'stereotypical' surroundings. This however is different, after picking up the food through the drive through, sitting in the car to eat. There wasn't an urge to finish eating quick to move away.

I was exided to get the fish deal. I have seen the commercial on TV, so I decided to go and try it. To my surprise it was not what I expected. it was cold, plus I bought an apple pie, I did not receive the pie which I was also looking forward to eating. When I got to my destination and I went to get it, it was not there. I returned to reclaim my pie. But I look for the receipt couldn't find it, sat there for about 5 minutes, decided not worth it, somebody else will enjoy it besides me so I left and went home, sad that my fish was cold, and no pie. Fish was not to my liking sorry for Popeye don't think I will go again. Plus it was very expensive. And I was not compensated. Sad to say.

I ordered a spicy original sandwiches from drive threw and when I got home it wasn't at all what I wanted. I go to Popeyes for the chicken sandwich because it's big and filling. What I got was a small thin bread less piece of chicken that looks like it was dipped in some red sauce. Every other Popeyes serves it and big and breaded. I was disappointed.
