I ordered my food about an hour ago. I was told it was a half an hour wait. I showed up to get my food. The person stationed at the counter never greets/talks to me and walked away. Maybe has something against uniformed city employees not sure what else could have had happened to go unnoticed. I stand there for 5 minutes at the register and waited patiently. A gentleman walks in after me is greeted immediately and asked what he needs, he said, pick up. I was bypassed and the employee looks me up and down gesturing for me to move so he can be handed his food. I'm insulted but I speak to her calmly and I said to her, I'm upset that I've been standing here, and nothing was said to me. I was told not to take it personally. I paid kept quiet the apology wasnt good enough because the attitude wasnt appreciated. said thank you and walked away but I was visibly irritated and upset by the mistreatment. This was the 2nd time I was mistreated and I've been here so many times before in the past. Its either a really weird coincidence that im being mistreated recently or there's and issue with serving me. In addition to pick up issues, I ordered my sandwich and asked over the phone. Do you have spinach or just lettuce? I was told. Yes and asked for extra (for the vitamins). I did not receive any spinach. last time I didnt get my cherry pepper relish either. I called to inquire about the discrepancy however they wouldn't answer. The food is great. The service and attention to detail is not so much. I will be going back, but checking my order before I leave so that it is corrected.

It would be nice if ONE time they could actually put the toppings you ask and pay for on the damn sandwich. I just ordered and this is legit the 3rd or 4th time it arrived with literally none of the toppings. Thanks for the turkey and lettuce hoagie when I ordered the works. Oh and it wasn’t cut. I first experienced their sandwich trays at a Senior Living building in Moorestown, NJ. I believe there were six large catering trays of different sandwiches, toppings and desserts. A family of one of the residents gave the staff a Christmas luncheon and I was invited to join them. Everything was incredibly good. I still remember the presentation of everything and everyone who stopped in the conference room where it was set out kept saying , “ Oh my gosh these hoagies are so good! “ There was a variety so I think some were actually sandwiches . I’ve mentioned this place when anyone asks where to get a really good sandwich tray. I’m highly recommending this place!

I usually have a great experience ordering from marinuccis however I made a doordash order today and asked for it to be sliced in half because I was at work with no utensils and it wasn’t cut in half which made me have to use my bare hands then there were onions on my sandwich i am allergic and did not ask for onions also the mayo I did ask for was not on it I am disappointed I am muslim and fasting and waited a long time to eat this just to not like anything about it

The hoagies are absolutely delicious!! True Philly style taste and look! I only wish this place was near us. But when you want true Philly Style delicious hoagies....come here for sure! This is my second time here and I was so highly disappointed, store wasn’t busy so I asked the young lady at the counter what’s popular and I told her my order I told her I wanted a Italian hoagie with light meat with extra cheese with cooper. - A woman come from the back and said I wanted a hot ham hoagie? - I told them I didn’t want ham at all lite meat as I was telling the counter person.. who mind you was DOING her job, the women that makes the sandwich basically did what she wanted and not what the customer wanted. As they were making my sandwich I watched as they had various meats & cheeses on the FLOOR… I watched as 3 people walked back and forth and didn’t do anything… I was like in a fever dream - I paid for my sandwich and it was completely wrong, the counter girl I watched her write my entire order she followed directions and when I checked out I told the girl that there was food on the floor and she look so upset and embarrassed and apologized to me. It’s not her fault it’s the girl who makes the sandwiches running around bossing everybody around. Not a cute look.

Today I had a very unpleasant encounter with Brook and employee at the Port Richmond location. When I came to the counter, I very pleasantly said Hello, she just looked at me as if I had two heads and said, "What can I get for you?" I again said even louder HELLO and I'm picking up for Kimberly!! Brook walked away grabbed my sandwich, looking down she asked did I want pickles, hots, peppers? I answered, "All of the above please and a receipt!! Brook mumbled something as she was taking my twenty dollar bill and then says, " A dollar twenty is your change! " I stood there for few seconds to see if she was going to remember my requested receipt and she Did Not, Nor did she say Thank You!! I said to her, "My Requested Receipt?" Realizing she had forgotten it , she says, " I was going to get it, Why are you So Rude?? I said to her, " Rude, clearly that's been your Attitude since I came in the door!! Noone was apologetic for Nasty Attitude!! Then when I get in my car I realized the lil Meany Brook, overcharged me twice for sharp cheese!! This sandwich doesn't even taste good after the Bitter Encounter with BROOK!!

I ordered 3 hoagies on seeded rolls, only 2 were made with the seeded rolls. I was told pickles and hot peppers came on the side. I returned home (to NJ) and there were no pickles or peppers. The 3 young people working were twirling lunch meat around (like a rally towel), and obnoxiously laughing. I ordered in person because no one was answering the phone -it would go to voicemail. Another customer was complaining about the same thing and was told they were busy because it’s Memorial Day weekend. I waited 20-25 minutes for my order and the phone did not ring once. Been getting hoagies from here for ever and never had a bad experience until yesterday the customer service was awful the workers were singing very vulgar songs. So much so one worker said " this is so inappropriate " Got home and my hoagies were horrible. I called the next day to tell them about my experience. Thank goodness for advertisement . I live in audubon New, Jersey which is about 25 mins from the deli. I seen Marinucci's advertised on my phone . I am formerly of philadelphia therefore I know a good hoagie . I also remember the great days of GREENMANS MONSTER HOAGIES. Although Greenmans is still open and being milked for its original owners name 30 years later there hoagies are horrible. MARINUCCIS was as advertised fresh, great seeded rolls and dietz watson meats . The hoagie was awesome and huge. The people were fast and courteous. Recently check out Marinucci’s Deli since it’s been on my list of sandwich shops to try in Philly, anyways it’s a small establishment but vary clean and the staff was ok. I kept it simple and order an Italian hoagie even though there specialty hoagies sound good, anyways I waited about 15mins and when I received the hoagie I noticed it was huge, the hoagie was vary delicious I can definitely give them that. The downside was the hoagie wasn’t cut in half which normally that a plus for me since I’m always biking, and usually enjoy half the sandwich first before getting to my destination I also kinda wish my roll was seeded like I seen in previous photos but it wasn’t. Anyways also keep in mind that pickles, sweet peppers, hot peppers etc are giving on the side and not on the the sandwich, there’s also a $20 credit card minimum. Overall I can definitely recommend Marinucci’s Deli if your in the Port Richmond area.

First time. Walked in got looked at by the teen girls “running” the deli. I live 5 mins away from this business & only found out about it when a friend of mine offered me a half or their hoagie they had. II was so impressed with it cause I had been looking for a deli like the ones I used to know from "bck in the day" & this place was it. The food is so good. It doesn't matter which sandwich you order , it will be like perfect. The girls working there are always friendly & you never wait long for your food. I visit the port Richmond store & I believe there are 2 other locations. If your looking to eat a REAL HOAGIE by all means , run to Marinucci's. 😁

I've been a customer for 20+ years best hoagies around! However today as I tried to place my order..The rap music blasting in the background with all the profanity was distracting the girl who was trying to take my order. I tried on 5 occasions she asked me my address and all 5 times followed with huh? Seriously? I didn't place an order today. Think I'll go back to the Mayfair location if at all never again will I place an order in port Richmond. But than again what do I expect from the hood
