I have mixed feelings about this place. Very first time i ordered they said there was an emergency and they weren't taking any orders. Now they have a calzone, burger, and pizza business all operating from the same address. The only thing redeemable is the calzone Ive had was good.

I ordered from here on DoorDash, and they cancelled two separate orders on the same day like 10-15 min before they were supposed to be delivered. It says the shop is 24 hours, but I wouldn't trust it. I then called the shop and told someone who answered the phone what happened and they put me on hold for 45 min until it eventually hung up on me. I tried calling back again but got no answer. Unfortunate because I used to buy pizza from here every Friday afternoon, but I will never be ordering from here again.

If you're considering ordering from here do not. After spending almost 30 minutes trying to call and it ringing repeatedly I decided to drive in in order. I asked if they are specials the girl says no and hands me a menu. I asked specifically are these prices the same that are advertised on your website and she says yes. So I placed the order thinking nothing of it and as I'm sitting in my car waiting I look at the receipt and notice that everything is priced between $1 and $5 more than what's advertised. So I go back in and ask why that is where a $13.49 hoagie is now billed at $18.88 along with everything else on the menu being priced significantly higher than advertised. The girl can't explain Ian gives me some cash back but I didn't ask for the owner because I feel like this is dirty practice to be basically stealing people's money. No more than 2 seconds later the owner comes storming through the front door with a complete attitude talking about why I'm causing problems and it's because he charges 10% more than what's advertised and he's allowed to. I said where does that say that you can charge 10% more and he yelled about not needing to tell anybody about it. And then I confront him about even if it is 10%, $13.49 at 10% does not equal $18 and then he just starts getting mad and yelling about take my pizza and go.. needless to say I did not take my pizza and go and got a refund so if you are considering ordering from this place which you shouldn't based on the numerous reviews I would 100% check your receipt based off what their advertising because I promise you you are being ripped off

I haven't even stepped foot in or tried this place yet and I'm leaving 1 star. I looked this place up to try but after seeing the rating and the way the immature owner responds to people's reviews I refuse to give this place any business.
The owner needs to learn to take accountability and respect people that are reviewing his business (good or bad). Some people just can't handle business ownership or take any criticism. Pathetic.

Just had quite possibly the very worst pizza and bread sticks from a pizza joint in a very long time. Just awful. It was comparable to grade school cafeteria pizza, not kidding. To boot, the marinara sauce served with the breadsticks was thin, watery and tasteless. Ugh. Can't understand how this place remains in business. Steer clear!

Friendly and nice people. Insanely terrible, borderline comical subs I got today. Lupi’s had always been good but I hadn’t been there in probably about a year. I was looking for a decent fish sandwich without all the 75 cents a piece up-charges for things that should already be on a sub like lettuce, onion and tomato that everywhere seems to charge for now. Order was a 9” fish sub and a 9” Italian sub. The fish sub, was fish sticks on a 7.5 “ bun. Literal “You feed me minced ?!” fish sticks (if that old commercial resonates with anyone), about 6 -8 shreds of lettuce and a thin slice and possibly a half of tomato if I’m being generous. No cheese, no onion and no tartar sauce. 7 literal once frozen and probably minced fish sticks on a bun I could have purchased an entire box of for half the price of the sub. As for the Italian sub, we asked for no tomatoes or onions and just a little bit of the standard amount of lettuce. We certainly did not ask for a single one inch shred of lettuce! That did actually make me laugh because what on earth?! As for meat, it looks like 6 small size pepperoni and 4 thin slices of I dunno ham or salami maybe on each piece of bun. There might be a piece of cheese under it but not sure. $30 something for some frozen minced fish sticks and a few pieces of lunch meat looking like it was near expiration date leftover clearance deli specials at the grocery store. Also got two orders of fries as part of the $30 total. Fries and ranch were good.

Are they still open? Last time I ordered online I drove there for pickup and the lights were out and it seemed closed up, this was like 6:30 on a Saturday, so I was a little surprised.

This place has trash customer service. Placed an order 8/20/25 at 10:40 PM. They charged my card, and then canceled our order an hour after it was placed. Nobody answered the phone. Not only did we not get food, but they ruined any chance of ordering elsewhere since everything else in the area was now closed. Avoid this scam of a “restaurant”.

Update 8/26/2025: I contacted Lupi's on 8/23 to request a refund because they did not refund my money automatically despite canceling my order. An employee told me that I would receive a call back from a manager, but I never did. I was forced to contact my bank and provide evidence of the canceled order so I could dispute the charge. Save your time/money and just order elsewhere. For a great alternative, I highly recommend Pelegrino's on Babcock Blvd.

Ordered a pizza online at night. App said they were open and food would be ready at 1:20 a.m. got there sign said open all lights were off and door was locked. Called repeatedly no answer. So they basically stole my 30 dollars. Sent an email on their webpage 3 days ago and received no response. I wonder how many people they do this to? Their hours are incorrect, they are NOT 24/7. I just tried ordering online and calling, but they're already closed tonight. The message when you call is completely unhelpful, it says no hours.

I called to place an order and the man on the phone was super sweet and very helpful . My food order came within maybe 30 minutes and I was shocked it was so quick. .everything was hot and fresh and just how I asked for it. The steak hoagie was amazing. I called for delivery. I have had their food in the past with no problems. I was told about 25 minutes. My address for delivery is on the same road. After about an hour I called and was told my food should be here any minute. 30+ minutes later I called again. Whomever answered the phone was surprised I didn't have my food yet. He said he was going to call the driver. I commented that the food is going to be cold. Guy on the phone said if food was cold to call him and he would give me a refund. Upon hanging up I get a text saying that they received my order and it gave a delivery time along with Door Dash which I have never used before. A car pulled into parking lot with a Papa John's thing on top of car. So apparently the guy Oleh delivers Door Dash while working at Papa John's. I tried calling several times to get refund but I just seem to "miss" whoever needs to do refund every time I called. I will not be ordering from them again nor will I order from Papa John's after this experience.

Walking into Lupi’s is like walking into another world. One where the sun shines all the time. Cause why else would it be 90 degrees in the dining room? So plan ahead, put on your bathing suit, slap on some sunscreen, and bring a lawn chair so you can be nice and comfy while you wait forever for your food.

You can leave your phone in the car because not even cellular data can escape the gravity of this fine establishment. If you need to make a call, you can just use their phone. Don’t worry, none of the employees will be using it. It’ll just be ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing. Perfect soundtrack to a perfect ambiance.

And be sure to try their aged pickles. You can find them in the pop cooler, where they’ve been for the last 12 years. You almost had me, Lupi.

Poor experience with Lupi’s. Put in an order online for delivery, received order confirmation but 1 1/2 hours later still no food, well past quoted delivery time. We call them and get no answer. I drove there, see the flashing “OPEN” sign in the window but front door is locked. Walk around side, theres a door open, lights on but not a soul in sight. I call out for someone and no one answered. I left and sent email asking for explanation and refund. Delivery driver never showed up for work, so they kindly informed me about 30m after the website said it would be delivered. Unfortunate timing I guess, but I'm right around the corner so I did pick-up instead. The food lately has been amazing, so if you're a delivery driver in need of work, they are looking for help! I had to wait a bit for service at the front, but I know that they hadn't started my order, YMMV. I'm guessing that the person working is also the new owner. I ordered a xl round on 4-14-23. Pizza seemed like it was a left over from a previous day. Very cold and dry hard to cut. Not even a little warm. Never again! I also think i was over charged. My bill came to 22 and change. The pie was 14.99 extra pepperoni was 3.79 with 7 percent tax should of been 20.09 I will never return or recommend Lupis! I wish I could give them a better rating because I’ve had 2 other good experiences there. But unfortunately I can’t. I placed an online order for some boneless wings and a sub. It’s a convenient walk across the parking lot from necromancer so we got a table and beer and then I walked over to grab the food.

No one was inside, not a customer or staff member. Finally someone walked around the corner and he was a bewildered delivery driver who said he was waiting for his boss to get back. He said he could ring me out but the boss would have to get the food (?? What). So I ring out (he never asked my name) and have a seat.

Delivery driver disappears. I wait about 10 minutes and never see a single person. I say “HELLO?” And still nothing. So I wrote on my receipt that no one helped me and I would be contacting them for a refund. I walk back to necromancer and tell my husband who decides to call.

The delivery driver answered and apologized and said they were working on it and to give them 10 minutes. He honestly seemed overwhelmed and trying to do the best he could. Then they magically call back and the food is ready, leaving me to believe it was done for a long time but no one knew where to find it.

My husband walks over to get it and the boss is there, acting as if nothing is wrong. My husband let him know we were unhappy to which he responded it was basically not his fault, it’s that no one wants to work. The boss said something to the effect of not wanting the wife to be mad, but it is what it is. He then complained about people leaving bad reviews and was confused as to what to do to make that stop.

Hmmm I wonder what he could do??

I did get my food, but I did not get a refund.

Edit: the owner thinks this is a fine customer service experience. So if you’re good with this level of service, have at it.

Called and was told they got busy and did not send anyone. Very bad business. The wings were not even cooked all the way through

According to drivers we're one of the top customers. Lately quality and service has been declining. I hate to say it, but order elsewhere. Wings are terrible now, more bones and scrap than actual wings. Last order 3 out of 4 subs ordered had wrong toppings. Half of the 24 wings were junk. Called to advise about disappointment in quality and all I got was, "what do you want us to do?" I didn't ask for refund, just wanted to let it be known. No apology and very awkward conversation.

The food is great, but the phone service is not so good. When I called, I was put on hold, but that isnt the issue. I dont mind waiting as I understand they get a lot of calls. However when I was put back through, they rushed me through the rest of my order. When I asked to repeat back to me what I ordered they said they have other calls and said goodbye, and almost hung up on me if I hadnt quickly asked how long it would take to be delivered. Like I said, food is great, but they should repeat my order if I ask regardless of other people on the line because I'm spending my money and want to make sure its correct.

We basically stumbled upon this little pizza shop and WOW! A Greek pizza was served up in 10 minutes that was absolutely delicious! Yes, there aren’t many places to sit but I’d stand to eat a slice from Lupi’s.

Waited 2 hours for a delivery. No show. Called and asked for a manager. Didn’t show any sign of caring (poor customer service), told to contact SLICE. Slice was super nice, excellent customer service. Trevor needs educated on management skills, no apology (learn to take responsibility), no offer to fix it (management 101). Been a customer for 4 years now, sad to leave, but poor management leads to such decisions. #customerisalwaysright

Ordered at 314 pm for delivery. Was told 45 minutes.. Had called at 405 on food was told it was on way. Called again at 415 and nobody answered the phone. Said it was closed. Finally received the food at 435 pm.

I ordered a few days ago. The pizza took 1 hour and 45 min. Pizza was cold and there was basically no sauce. And worst part is they forgot to put pepperoni on all together. I called back for a refund and there was no answer. I then wrote an email on their contact page with no reply. Stay away, too many other good options in the area.

Me and my boyfriend have actually ordered quite a few times from here and it's always for the most part been good. I know people make mistakes and forget things ranch or bread the cauliflower too much but it happens. Well we order tonight on Labor Day at 8pm, someone answered the phone and took our order and they said 45 minutes to an hour. We wait an hour and 20 minutes and they said they were closed. What in the world?! Who does that? If you're closed just say that. Shady!! Don't take my order and let me think you're coming and not. Now you screwed us for dinner for the night because everything is closed. No offer for ANYTHING or even an apology.... Wow...

The pizza here is great, and the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Obviously your mileage may vary, but I would gladly order from them again.
We had a triple pepperoni and a margerhita pizza. The dough is excellent, just chewy enough to keep it honest, while seasoned enough to make the crusts worth the effort. Their sauce I was particularly fond of, with a tart and genuine tomato quality that was reminiscent of pizza parlors from my youth, before overly processed sauces sullied the idea of a marinara. Their pizza oven also applies just the right amount of oiled glaze to the bottom of the pizza, leaving it golden and sealed.
The triple pepperoni was true to the title, with copious amounts of the succulent staple often piled on top of each other. They may have ruined me for other extreme pepperoni pizzas.
To be completely honest though, the Marg could have been better. I know that fresh basil and mozzarella slices are not the cheapest ingredients, but a ratio of one each per slice is getting a little stingy. This could have been the singular, shining specimen of their artistry, but it left me feeling a little let down. However, we had several medium pies, so perhaps the large fares differently.

You will have a little trouble locating the place due to the overbearing adjacent storefronts. It is seriously like the store next door is looming over Lupi's and demanding its lunch money. Parking is at a serious premium on this street in general, and Lupi's is getting the short straw in a serious way. Maybe park across the street in the derelict car wash or something.

Very good pizza and a spicier kind of pepperoni if you like that. No issues with delivery times or getting orders wrong in 5+ orders, so I would say they are consistently doing things the right way.

I ordered the chicken shish kebab Pizza Pizza it looks great but the chicken was a little Bland, but it was very tender. I believe it was fresh. That should have been more seasoned. The pizza seemed a bit dry could have used a bit more of the white sauce. But had a nice flavor. I also ordered a traditional pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. One of my family members said it was too sweet another one that said it was the best pizza he ever had. I also ordered breadsticks. They were my favorite thing that I got that night. Very flavorful. We all agreed maybe we should try something else, other than their shish kebab Pizza.

Mad and disgusted. Order a steak hoagie off of grub hub, got an Italian, called and they replaced it quciky. Got the steak hoagie and it had multiple black hairs in my steak hoagie, so disgusting! Must be new owners because the hoagie buns aren't the same and the hoagie was soggy and greasy!

I don't get to eat out much but I really enjoy a white specialty pizza they have. It has feta and spinach, tomato ( which I ask them to leave off), onion (light). It's not greasy as some are but so flavorful. Absolutely delicious!

We strayed from our favorite pizza place for a coupon and will not make that mistake again. Pizza was greasy (dripping greasy, not standard greasy), limp and lacked flavor. BBQ wings were dry (sauce was tasty, but they were severely overcooked and hard to chew). Breadsticks were burnt. My 6 year old, lover of all pizza, wouldn't finish a slice. We ended up throwing most of it away. Very unwhelming experience. The only redeeming quality was that the service was friendly. There are many good spots in the North Hills; this is just not one of them.

Had a gluten free pizza from Lupi's Famous Pizza today and it was wonderful!!!!! It was a buffalo chicken and it was just the right amount of spicy with the perfect amount of cheese and a crust that is the best gluten-free crust I have ever had. It is also a very nice size 8 cut. A few days ago, I ordered from another pizza shop and the only gluten-free pizza they had was a small 6 cut. I'm so happy that I can get excited to eat pizza again! Thank you Lupi's Famous Pizza. PS, my daughter said to also mention that the breadsticks were terrific.
