what an interesting spotβ¦ all the lights were off when we entered and no one was inside, except for the woman at the counter who was on a phone call. menu was pretty average but we were just there for coffee. the price definitely matched the quality, and the coffee was not hot. maybe if we had gotten food weβd have a different perspective, but based on the vibe inside, we were not about to stay in there any longer.

This place honestly feels like a gem tucked in the heart of Bethlehem. What fascinated me most was the wild interior: walls covered in so many portraits, mismatched furniture that somehow just works, and a vibe thatβs both chaotic and incredibly warm. Itβs the kind of space you want to sit in for hours.
The coffee? Smooth, strong, and exactly what I needed. And the Engineer sandwich I orderedβso good. Flavorful, filling, and shockingly affordable!

I went in the early afternoon during a non-busy period, and wasnβt sure if I was in the right place. It was dingy and slightly creepy, but I was hoping the coffee would be good so continued my walk to the back counter. I felt like I was in an unfinished home basement. There were papers and folders all over, and it appeared unclean. Two employees sat behind the counter (one with a child sleeping in her arms which is not a problem, but added to the feeling that I was in someoneβs home, not a coffee shop), and stared at me without any greeting as I looked at the menu. The coffee was nothing memorable, but the atmosphere certainly was.

Stopped in for a coffee in the afternoon. It was pretty messy around the counter area and food prep area also looked messy. The gentleman at the counter was very nice but the coffee was not good. I ordered a oat latΓ© and Iβm pretty sure it was just drip coffee with oatmilk. No foam at allβ¦ Ordered a matcha and it was super bitter with a bad aftertaste . People were working there seeming to enjoy it. But unfortunately it was very disappointing for us. We were just passing through the area.

Everything was great, but the salt shakers were disgusting. I wanted to add salt to my salad but I added Pepper. The salt shakers on other tables were not working.I'm sharing the disgusting salt shaker with the photo.

Going to Deja Brew feels like coming home. I couldnβt recommend a better place in the Valley for coffee, food and a great atmosphere. Always interesting people coming in and out. Every time we come back to the region we always make sure we stop in to see Jeff and grab a coffee. Going there today most likely.

This place is an absolute disaster. The coffee had no flavor and was way too hot. The place was loud, dirty and had a kid running around annoying my guests. This place is definitely a no-go for me anymore.
Unfortunately, Google doesnβt allow me to give a 0-star, so I can only give a 1.
Overall, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

there was a little girl running around the restaurant while we were there, which in itself is not a bad thingβ¦i understand being a working parent is hard and childcare is expensiveβ¦ but if youβre going to bring your toddler to work keep an eye on her. it was really ridiculous how much havoc this little girl was wreaking and how little attention the employees were paying to her. food was also meh

This spot had no AC, it was uncomfortably warm, which also created a bit of an odor. Very cluttered with junk and some trash. There was a toddler running around whom belonged to an employee. Iβm not against children at the work place, but designate an area because she was chasing people to the door as they left and no one seemed to care. We ordered two iced lattes, I was shocked to find out you had to pay 75Β’ to put it over ice. I asked for caramel and whipped cream, it tasted like water and they didnβt give me whipped cream. When I brought it to their attention, she said I didnβt order it that way. We threw the cups out at the nearest trash can and went somewhere else for lunch. Definitely a disappointment.

All photos are fake. Itβs Departmental store where they serve coffee from thermos may be they have prepared in morning and milk carton will be in fridge . So if you are adding milk you end up having cold coffee. Horrible place.

Used to order lunch for the office more frequently but theyβre not on delivery apps anymore so we ordered directly from the restaurant and drove over to pick it up. Custom sandwiches were missing several items and the counter clerk would not speak to the person picking up. No greeting, no thank you, just shoved the bag & the card reader across the counter. The formerly friendly service is gone as is the attention to the order. Hopefully this was a one-time issue and theyβll get back on track.

I have always wanted to go to this coffee shop and I'm so glad I did. It has a relaxed environment with books, games, artwork and friendly staff. I had their triple threat sandwich with some alterations and it was so good! I tasted my boyfriend's Almond Joy Hot Chocolate and it was PHENOMENAL. I can't wait to go back to try more drinks and food.

I had high hopes for this cafe after the good reviews, but I was extremely underwhelmed with the first sip of my latte. It was so weak of coffee flavor that I found myself swirling away milk foam to make sure the milk actually contained coffee. It did, but when I finished my cup, I found large coffee grounds settled in the bottom--not something that one should find in an espresso drink! The milk also tasted a bit stale and scorched. The interior of the cafe is quirky and cute, but I recommend finding a different spot if you are looking for authentic and quality coffee.

Health inspectors need to come here the fridge with the drinks is beyond dirty. There was a white something on top of a can of Sprite. The area behind the Register is filthy. I canceled my order as soon as I saw the drink fridge. Said the hogies was to much i lied your deli almost made me throw up.

The customer service was nonexistent and I felt unwelcome and overwhelmed with awkwardness when I greated someone who worked there and was met with silence and then when I asked for a suggestion someone pointed to the menu, then when I got my coffee it was ok, nothing to write home about, needless to say next time I'll walk to the next shop.

Love this place. Comfortable, friendly, real. What a great place to talk, meet people, and of course a terrific cup of coffee and solid food. Deja Brew is so NOT institutional. Like visiting someone's large living room. It has a healing power--not to overstate the case. Really.
A great little coffee house and hangout spot on the Southside. It's one of those key places that makes South Bethlehem the Southside. Very full of University types trying to get away from campus, but that's not a bad thing.
