I was visiting a friend in the local area and ordered from here a few times during my visit. They were friendly, receptive, and committed to providing great customer service. On one occasion we ordered cheesesteaks and on the other we ordered gyro platters. On one occasion, they thought the tip was a little high and even called back, concerned that I made a mistake. This used to be a great pizza store with the food and customer service. I don’t knew what’s happened now, but the food quality and service has dropped significantly. I usually order from here all the time and don't normally have any issues but I do have to mention this. I ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghetti(8/23/25). I went to eat it about an hour later and as I'm eating I feel something hard while chewing. After realizing I wasn't crazy, I found a piece of a steel wool scrubber in my food. I'm not turned off from eating here but I just will be more diligent with checking my food.

If you haven't had the fish special you are most certainly missing out. It was released last week and my household has already ordered it over 6 times. The fish and shrimp are freshly handbattered in shop. They have 3 types of fish, whiting, flounder, and tilapia. I've only had the whiting but I am looking forward to trying the others.

Went in and Ordered 10 Lemon Pepper wings. The girl at the front(Short Middle Eastern One) took my order and SNATCHED my money from my hand, then dropped my chage back in my hand, as if not to touch me like I had some sort of contagious disease. She charged me $12.90 for the wings. On the menu it says that they are $10.50. Sales tax in the city is 8%. After I came back to get my food, I addressed the issue with the cook. He said it was no way I should have been charged that much. Now the girl is sitting there with a " I'M CAUGHT " look on her face. He(The Cook) addressed the issue with her and all she said in a VERY rude way was here, take your money back. Remember this is the same girl that SNATCHED my money from my hand and DROPPED my change back in it. The girl didn't even have the courtesy to apologize and make it SEEM like a mistake. I have a business on this block as well and me my staff and clients patronize this establishment daily. BUT NO MORE!!! This is the first order so more reviews will follow. However, we enjoyed the cheesesteaks and wings deal. The cheesesteaks were moist and not super greasy which my wife hates. The boneless wings were your standard good boneless. The sauce is great. We often fight over whether to get mild or hot. Well the sauce is mild enough for my wife. For me it has a good kick and tastes good. I would consider their mild more of a medium spicey. Overall, good service and good food!

Be careful ordering delivery with your credit card as the owner has unethical business practices of not disclosing debit/credit card fees and fraudulently writing in tips after customer’s sign invoices.

Very, very, very rude. I ordered a large cheese pizza & buffalo wings. The deliveryman shows up empty handed after a 55min wait. I only live 5min away...Tells me he needs to go back to the restaurant to get your order... Confused I called the store. A lady answered explaining that the driver gave my food to someone else and they were remaking the whole orderover again. Ordered a cheese steak for delivery, received a chicken cheese steak. When I called them and let them know, I was put on hold where I have been waiting for 20 minutes. Pretty poor first impression. I don't know where these 5 star reviews came from, this food was terrible. The fried chicken was some of the worst I've seen/tasted, and the fries were soggy. I really wish I'd spent my money elsewhere.

This jawn popped up out of no where, but my dad spotted it and soon put me on. I like how they are open late, and the food was fresh, hot, and delivered on time. I had the Steak Stromboli, which was good. It was even good the next day when I warmed the rest up. The fries were good, wings, and salad. The girl who answered the phone was polite, and pleasant. This might be my new spot. I’ll be trying the pizza today.

Great telephone service. Nice people to talk with. Very fast service. Husband has ordered steak sandwich three days in a row. AND I CAN COOK.
******Well, this must be the 6th or 7th time he has ordered from City Star. Maybe 8th. I was trying to find 6 stars to give them for their Wing Dings. Best chicken I ever ate outside of mine, and I don't eat outside chicken******

We bought lunch from here and then went back for dinner. Greek salad was great, as was the veggie lover slice and honestly everything else. All the ingredients were very fresh and the owner clearly has exacting taste in food and is passionate about his work. Staff was so pleasant.
