Been here many times over the years. First time since they moved. The food was as good as it’s always been. Service was down. I don’t know if they are still trying to get used to a bigger place or what but our waitress walked past us a dozen times and never once stopped to ask if we needed anything. It took over 15 minutes to get a box and the check and that was only because I spoke up and stopped her on one of her many walks past our table.

Probably the worst breakfast experience I’ve had at a restaurant. We waited over an HOUR to get our food, and there were multiple issues with our order. But the quality of the food was the real stinger.

The breakfast potatoes had absolutely no flavor, and it was obvious that they were previously frozen and microwaved (they looked like the frozen breakfast potatoes you’d find in a plastic bag at Walmart).

The broccoli omelet had ZERO florets in it. It was entirely small stems. It also looked to be from a premade frozen vegetable mix.

The veggie omelet had the strangest flavor that I can only describe as “old” tasting. I wouldn’t be surprised if the vegetables in this omelet were reheated, as well.

Both omelets were greasy, and thinner than crepes. No way these were 3 egg omelets.

The pancake was greasy and burned.

Will NEVER return. The owner must have known we didn’t like the food, because he asked every table how their meal was except for us.

This is my first time dining out here, my parents told me about it (they love it) My brother, father, and spouse went with me today and we had a terrific time! In addition to the delicious food and coffee, the staff was delightful and extremely kind. I really like the decor , which is quite cozy and of course I love the pictures of the golden girls. Anyone who likes the golden girls knows what they're doing haha but seriously , it's a great location that I highly recommend! I would give more stars if I can <3

Ive only gotten breakfast from here due to it being in such a convenient location near my job. Would be decent if they could get my order correct for once but they are now 0 for 6 in that regard. Their portions do not match their prices. It like paying for an adult breakfast but getting a toddler meal. Ive only gotten sandwiches and the breakfast special but constant failure is enough to make me never get breakfast here again. I feel breakfast is a pretty difficult thing to screw up but they somehow manage to do it regularly.

This place looks so cute! And the food is delicious to boot! We got the omelet with bacon and the French toast with strawberries and cream. The omelet got devoured! I personally think the French toast with strawberries and cream would be better as a crepe dish bc the French toast is a little thick for that, but it was still delicious! Perfect amount of strawberries and cream and the French toast was fuffy! My only suggestion is the dish seperation, but that is it!

I had to delete my recent review because I feel it helps lower the rate and the owner, and a few of the waitresses deserve nothing more than a five star rating and going on here just to express how I felt very uncomfortable based on the attitude of one server isn’t fair to the owner, who clearly Cares very much for his establishment. His food is delicious all the time he always greet you as if he knew you his whole life and yet again I have to say the waitress with blonde hair. 🤣 wish I knew her name they are absolutely wonderful. I eat my fair share of diner breakfast s And I had a favorite local place unfortunately they are now Dust in the wind since I Found Church St., Café I highly recommend French toast. The price is probably half of the cost of anywhere else and it is 100 times better than anywhere else. I haven’t really tried much of anything else because I am just glued on the breakfast menu, but I do see it and I do get it for other people and it’s always delicious, even at home I have a picky eater, and yet he constantly keeps his hands on my food when I bring it home

Church Street Cafe is not one of those places you will be telling everyone you know "OMG you have to eat at this place." However, Church Street is one of those places that you will ALWAYS get a good, filling meal at really good prices. We love this place so much. Everyone here is fantastic. The owners Dan and Amber are the kindest people I have ever met in the restaurant business. The waiters/waitresses are all amazing. Amber is our favorite. The food is DELICIOUS. There’s no fluff here, nothing fake, it’s just delicious wholesome food. I went to a rock show and partied with the band back stage then woke up to come here and it had the feeling like I was a teenager again eating at the family table after like I said a wild night out that none of the super sweet folks making my perfectly created noon breakfast knew about. Have gotten food from this cafe a few times, once for takeout and and twice for delivery. With both takeout and delivery the food was quick and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was always kind and courteous. The value of the food is incredible, the amount of food as well as the quality of food is well worth the cost. This is a lovely little restaurant with awesome decor and a very comfortable eating space. The owner is super friendly and polite and I’ve never had a bad experience with a server. I’ve also never had to wait too long for food even when they are extremely busy and the food is fantastic. It’s also reasonably priced. The Golden Girls themed back hallway leading to the bathroom is also truly a masterpiece and a must see for anyone who is a fan of the show. Great breakfast spot.
