It was my daughter's 8th birthday, I wanted to end the day off with something nice after taking her to the park. I took her out to Armenti's pizza because I thought why would I bother with getting dominos or pizza hut? So we went, had some pizza and other items, and oh man the pizza was damn near inedible. My daughter spat her pizza out complaining it tasted funny, as if it was left out for days. The combo pizza we had was dreadful, the veggies tasted abysmal, the salad I had for myself was unappetizing and it had little to no flavor, and my daughter said she felt sick. I asked the staff what the hell was wrong with the pizza and they told me my attitude was not acceptable and to leave. I paid my bill and left. The bill was 65 dollars, I felt robbed not having gotten 2 large pizzas from dominos instead for 20 bucks. Disgusting, I will not dare come back to this place again. This is by far the worst birthday my daughters ever had, and by far the worst experience ever. People wishing to come try Armenti's pizza out, be advised, Armenti will kill your hunger before you even try to eat. DON'T COME.

I wish there was less than one star to leave them, there pizza was one of the worst things I’ve ever had the horror of eating and on top of that they charged my card and made me pay twice for the pizza because they said their machine wasn’t working correctly and i would get refunded for the first charge from my bank which did happen but was inconvience. Lastly when i disputed the charge with my CC company due to not getting the product I paid for they called me today and said they were pressing criminal charges against my dispute. I don’t know if they are just broke and trying to rob people of their hard earned money or if they are just crazy people but I’ve never had this experience in my life. Stay away if you want to stay away from trouble and bad food

Iwill never understand why businesses think it's ok to charge customers a 3% fee to cover THEIR business expenses. I work around the corner but I won't be back. Don't take credit/debit card payments if you can't pay the fee. It's a business expense. Jersey Thin and NY Thin are both great. Jersey has dollops of sauce (which we don’t really do in Jersey, but whatever.. the pizza is great) and the NY is a great plain pie. Cup and char pepperoni available. Place is clean. Best pie around, drive from Honesdale for it, now.

A woman behind the counter was very short and rude to us which gave us a bad impression on the restaurant. Pizza was just good but very pricey per slice.. cards excepted but they said have to spend over 10 to use a card which I can see it would be hard for some who just want a slice and a drink.

I never saw a post about minimals to use a card my bill was way over it with a drink and 2 slices (I guess special toppings because they were $6.00 each) i had people in my group that just wanted a drink because the prices were to high for thr pizza. We got attitude for it. Sorry we never been in there and the attitude wasn't needed. We had intentions to dine in but left. To solve the problem with fees from cards I suggest to add a surcharge to the bill...(everyone else does it and we are used to it)

We came here for dinner tonight after we discovered them for lunch the other day. The atmosphere was great both times. Felt really calm. Our waitress Hope K was absolutely amazing! Treated our kids as actual people and listened to them whe they were ordering. Even had my youngest sons pizza cut up for him. She gave them a little toy at the end of our meal. Italian hoagie was dripping with sauce, way too much, and it didn't taste much like an italian hoagie. The dressing threw it all off.

Pizza was worse than Dominos - okay crust, but nothing else about it was particularly good, and when I order a "sausage pizza", I expect more than 6 dime-sized pieces of sausage per slice. It's not even the good italian sausage.

And it's not exactly "New York Style" at all. It's not the full weirdo NEPA style, but it sure doesn't taste like a normal pizza. I think they padded out the cheese with some American.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. I ordered the Penne Vodka with sausage my normal go to when I go there. I sat down and I received the wrong order. Instead of complaining I just ate my pasta with marinara instead of vodka. When it was time to cash out I just asked the server to change the order so I pay the cheaper price for the marinara pasta instead of the vodka pasta which is more expensive. Instead of changing the bill she gave me another order of the penne vodka with sausage to make up for it. They more than accommodated a mistake that was made. I’ll continue coming to have this amazing food served by amazing people!

Hands-down, the one of the best cheesesteaks in the area the bun isn’t exactly my favorite just cause I don’t like seeds on a bun so if you don’t like seeds, I will say this. I’m a very picky eater and I can eat past those seeds. That’s how good the quality of the meat is. There’s no strings like like a crappy cheesesteak on top of that. I don’t think I’ve ever been there at the owner wasn’t there giving up himself working just as hard as his employees anytime you have that in an establishment you know that something‘s gonna be quality and the bright star of it all the two girls at the register maybe the third one will be just as good. Today, I ordered two pizzas online and my wife picked them up with our sleeping 2-year-old in the car. Since it was prepaid, she called to ask if someone could bring it out. Have been going here for awhile was very good. Past maybe month and a half has been a horrible experience. One time they messed up our pizza and made something totally different, another time they forgot to cook our food, tonight we got 2 hot wing hoagies that had hardly any chicken on it. This is a sad comment to write. This used to be my favorite pizza place in the area, now it’s just a mess. This new owner doesn’t know what’s happening. I placed an order, went to pick it up and was just told by the waitstaff that their boss gave away my order and that replacement would take over half an hour. This isn’t Armenti’s anymore. It’s a commercial shell of what it was. I’d say avoid there are better places near by.

UPDATE: I got a call from the owner after I was told my food would be remade. He said that he had my new food, but would not be serving me due to “problems with service”. If this is who you want to do business with, be warned what can happen here.

I live in the neighborhood and stopped going before because the food was great but I had concerns with the service I'd gotten. I figured I'd give it a try under new owners and am SO GLAD I did! The food was, somehow, even better (and it was good before!) ,and the service exceeded even my exacting standards! So much so that I ordered food for my whole team a few days later. When I did, they not only completed the order early, they came across the parking lot to drop it off as a courtesy! NEPA has tons of pizza joints - do yourself a favor and go to one with a staff and ownership who truly goes the extra mile! Like me, you'll be glad you did!!

Was nervous about the transfer of new ownership, food was always delicious before. Tonight I ordered $200 worth of food (pizzas, subs, wings, Stromboli) ordered extra toppings! Let me tell you, it’s better than before! They not only added all the extra toppings that I asked for ( unlike other places that skimp on cheese and sauce) it was honestly the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Wings and everything else was amazing! Love the red sauce here. New owners are very nice and so isn’t the staff!! Very clean establishment. Please don’t change anything. And the Sicilian pizza isn’t way too thick like other places! It’s perfect with that amazing sausage, pepperoni and extra cheese and sauce. New owners, new pizza. The place looked exactly the same but I didn’t recognize anyone so I had a feeling it was new owners. Sure enough I get home and try the pizza…. Definitely not the same. I come from Newfoundland to take out pizza because I loved it! I asked for the Fresca but it wasn’t even close to the same! You could see it as soon as you open the box. Saw this place on Facebook and we had to try it. We were not disappointed. Pizza was excellent and you have to try the disco fry’s. Also the cannoli are the bomb. Great service and family run. Excellent!

The pizza could have been reheated a little bit longer. But besides that the Douglas cooked perfectly throughout the whole pizza. It was crispy and delicious. I will definitely go again just ask them to keep pizza in the oven a little bit longer for the reheat.
