Horrible! And it isn't the workers-- it is the system they have designed to steal from customers! The self check out makes a faint sound when your discount card isnt selected. Oddly enough, their self check out machines are PROGRAMMED to not take your phone number for your discount card, so you end up paying at least 2x more! On fourth of July weekend I bought 2 packs of hotdogs with the sign marked 2 for $6.98.... they rung up $17.98. I didn't realize this until I got home. I tried to contact customer care, but they denied helping me saying I needed to go back in a heat waved, disabled, to get MY STOLEN MONEY. This is sick and now I see how it happened. I just walked out and left my cart behind when I saw the self check out refusing my card, with a line in the aisles for the ONE non self check out line (where they dont steal your money). Don't bother with your little AI generated response. I will tell everyone your system is designed to steal from customers.

Additionally, the ableist pricing system only available to those wanting to give their data to you via the app... what about people who don't have smart phones? Disgusting!

We came here to pick up a cake for a friends birthday and the women at the bakery complained about the size of the cake immediately and seemed reluctant to want to write on the cake. When we picked up the cake this is what we received. We were disappointed with the legibility of my friends name and especially the order of the words being wrong and it being done sloppily for the large party we are having!

I would like to recognize Chris the store manager at City Ave Acme market for his exceptional customer service and leadership. He helps me set up my Acme App and whenever I can’t find an item he would stop what he’s doing and personally walk me to the item. He always constantly busy throughout the store yet he never made customers feel like they're interrupting him. Chris is always pleasant, courteous, professional and welcoming, he greets me every time I shop at the store 😊 . His hard work and dedication and genuine care for customers makes the market a wonderful place to shop. He’s a tremendous asset to the store.

Shopped at this Acme on City Ave many times as its location is convenient. On many occasions, advertised items on the weekly ad were not in the store. Most recent example was on Thursday, July 2 - the watermelon and cherries were out of stock. Note that these items were also advertised on the next weekly ad for the July 4 weekend so the excuse of being the last day of the ad would not pass. I went to the other Acme and found them in stock.
